Hey, everybody! I'm a newbie here, although I have been lurking for a couple of weeks 
My question is, on the "Backgrounds" forum, everything seems to be for US agents. That's absolutely fine; in fact, I've visited the sites of quite a few agents recommended as being good, and loved a few of them. However, my question is, can agents in the US represent work that is written by a UK author? Does it vary from agent to agent? If they don't categorise themselves as being "international" (such as "Bliss International"), then are they only open to US writers? If they don't mention it, should I assume that it's okay and query them? Is it something I can/should mention in a query letter?
