I sent some (non-fiction) queries out today. Received one rejection in 3 minutes flat, a new record for me, BTW. I also quickly received a reply from another agent stating that she didn't quite understand the premise, but would like to see a chapter by chapter synopsis, but would like me to wait until mid august to send it.
I'm confused. It is clearly not a good thing that she didn't understand what the book was about, but it is good she wants to see more, right?
