Help! i need a word......

um.....

situation:

a warehouse....houses and ships my inventory....

the contact person there, when dealing with me, his client, speaks to me in what tone....

in otherwords, he has to make sure i am totally happy

and satisfied and that I know he is doing ALL he can to ensure smooth shipping.

so he would speak to me in which tone or with which type of "attitude" for lack of a better word.

I was thinking his eagerness.... also may work, but I'd like a pair of words. His eagerness, and ...... willingness?

Ingratiating? Subserviant?

Conscientious!

Ingratiating doesn't work in this case. Subserviant does...
I like it, but it is too big of a word? Conscientious works also.....can the two be used together???

I agree. In a moment, I'll paste the scene, so you can all determine if the word is right. ;)

Here it is.....

Amy and I had hit it off from the moment we met over the phone months ago. What started out as daily shipment status calls quickly turned into daily shoot-the-shit calls. One week, while Amy was out of the office, Mike was left to handle my shipment status calls. His conscientiousness and deference seemed so genuine, once Amy returned I was disappointed when my calls were no longer handled by him.

I think conscientiousness is a bit much....enthusiasm, maybe?
