Is anybody else here as rabidly crazed over Imogen Heap as I am?

I'm super psyched for her new album, Ellipse, and I just listened to Canvas+Video and almost peed my pants.

Show some love for Imogen. She's honestly a musical genius.

Tons of people have heard that. I'm pretty sure it's because of the movie The Holiday. But I think her other songs are all much better. It's still a good song though.

:::Jumps up and down shouting::: "Me! Me! Me!"

Love: The Walk, The Moment I Said It, Breathe In (Frou Frou), Headlock, I Am in Love With You, Can't Take it In (Chronicles of Narnia) and Glittering Clouds.

I haven't pre-ordered her new one, Ellipse, yet but am seriously considering it...

I think I have everything she's done that iTunes carries except for the lone track that's now available on her pre-order album.

One of my favorite artists ever. The voice, the way she arranges stuff and coaxes weird sounds out of weirder instruments... everything about her music is pure joy. Avant garde, yet oh so listenable. A beacon of hope in the modern world of prefabricated cookie cutter pop.

OK, enough fanboying. One month left guys until Ellipse. JUST ONE MONTH...

...a whole month.

I know I shouldn't, but I wish someone would leak it. Of course I'd still buy it - I just need it now!
Ah well, patience is a virtue.

My thoughts exactly, haha.

I listen to Canvas like every five seconds.

I love all three of the albums she's worked on. My favorite song is "Closing In".

First heard her back in the day when she was 1/2 of Frou Frou, and rediscovered her some years later. Amazing artist. Check out her twitter. Down to earth too.

If you like her, check out-

Emiliana Torrini
Sia (especially Zero 7 collabs)
Feist (some nice Broken Social Scene collabs too)

Uh, I'd say Speak for Yourself, but all of her songs are amazing.

Her new album is actually coming out in a couple of days. It's called Ellipse.

I didn't realise she had a new album out! Definitely have to give it a listen.

I've listened to the first 5 songs of Ellipse so far and this album is absolutely amazing. It's almost like an Enya album with all the different layers but in Imogen's own style. I love, love, love it so far.

I initially didn't like the song where she's criticizing her body in the mirror calling it a "bad body double"--it didn't start off so well for me but by the time it was over I loved it.

REALLY loving A-ha and Canvas. I've decided that A-ha would work well as the music for the ending credits of the movie version of my WIP. Ha!

I know. I absolutely love Bad Body Double and Swoon.

They're all amazing but those ones send me other the edge.

AH!

Okay, not gonna lie. At first, I wasn't so crazy about Half-Life.

But now it's just like, soooo beautiful to me. I can't stop listening to it.
