Free Ebook Conversion

Hello everyone. If anyone is interested, I am willing to do a manuscript to ebook conversion for you for free. I have publishing programs and all I need is your manuscript. You will get a table of contents, you can submit an image for a cover or do whatever you want. If you have any personal pereferences, you can just tell me. I figure this would be fun to do if you want to put together a collection of your short stories, or anything for that matter. I'd love to do it for you. I will not edit anything in your manuscript unless it's truely horrible and you want me to. Anyone wanna take me up on this?

BTW, I can publish in PDF or .HTML, I do not work in Windows so I can't do MS Reader format, I use several tools in Linux along the lines of Scribus. Oh and I think I posted this in the wong place. Sorry, move it if you wish

Sure (spam) that's a great idea! (spam). Who wouldn't want to spend 25 bucks for a service you admit there's no point in (spam)? I want my manuscript converted to e-book right away (spam)! I also want PDF and HTML versions of my masterpeice (spam)!

This limited time offer has come along at just the right time for me (spam)! Now I can bypass the evil publishing industry (:mad: They don't know my talent!) and publicate directly to the e-booking public for just pennies on the dollar (spam).

Hey, Im not spamming. Sorry it came across that way... I dont work for anyone, thats for sure. I just wanted to offer help for anyone who wanted their book in .pdf.... you may have misunderstood the Lulu thing.. Im not asking you to pay $25... seriously, I'm a real poster on this board.. I was quoting LuLus price because i think its ridiculous.. im just a writer who has experience in computers.. i.. i.. gah, now i feel bad

When a brand new member posts something like this, we can't tell if it's a legit offer or spam... or worse (such as an attempt to steal a manuscript or two). You have publishing programs. We have no control over what you do with our work once you've received it, and we don't know your real name. And when the post is wrought with spelling errors and the poster says he/she will only edit it if it's "truely horrible" I can't help but wonder what qualifies him/her to pass judgment on my work (what constitutes "truely horrible?"), let alone edit it. Some of us have been stung. Forgive us for being wary.

That is quite understandable. I posted this I believe in the middle of the night and I was tired. I probably should not have posted it at all, but I can see i didn't think my words out very well before I wrote them. I can understand fear of your work getting stolen. Oh ha, azbikergirl, what I meant by "truely horrible" was a manuscript with thousands upon thousands of obvious grammar errors that just killed it; i was not thinking about content. I wouldn't do any real editing, just pretty much put it in .pdf with menus and indexes, etc. Actually though, after visiting a lot of places, I dont think writers like ebooks oh well, I could try. :P

Wait, I just went here to figure out what the confusion was, and all I see is a member offering to do free PDF/html conversions for our other members. I think that's really nice, and I'm sorry we had a misunderstanding. Hang tight, horror fan. We just need to get to know you... then we'll be sweet as pie. :)
