May I brag a little? Please?

I hate to "pimp" my books. I'm just not a person who can stand up and say, "Look at me!" That being said, someting really blew me away, and I wanted to tell people who would understand as only other writers can.

I've been blessed where reviews are concerned. Very blessed. But one review that posted recently I really, really want to share.

Matilda at CoffeeTime went above and beyond to give All the Right Reasons a CTRR Award! She had to have taken quite a bit of time to get to know a lot about me to write the entry.

Thanks, Lily and Chumplet. I hope I didn't sound too braggy. This one made me cry. She knew about my job, my horses, and my illness. To get to know me like that took some time and caring on her part. (Getting a little verklempt again...)

Of all the things my reviewers have written, almost all of them commented on my characterizations. I consider that one of the highest compliments anyone could give me as a writer, saying that my characters seem real.

(sniff, sniff... Definitely going to happy cry again...)

Thanks so much, Cathy! I've been really down about my sales. My publisher is wonderful, but they're known for erotica, especially the menage amour line. Most of their shoppers aren't looking for mainstream romance. Now that my books are in Kindle and trade paperback on both Amazon and B&N, maybe I'll see a bump in sales. (A girl can hope...)
