I just discovered her novels and I have to say I love them! They have sweet with simple story lines but I cannot help but smile after finishing one :)
Harlequin is reprinting many of her novels. I discovered her on their site.

I love them too! Seems like I always pick up one whenever I see a special edition reissue.

However, my one complaint is that they do get a bit repetitive. It's usually a large stoic Dutch doctor who already has a fiance or girlfriend who's really bitchy. After he plants a hard kiss on the heroine by surprise, she's off and running to eventually land her man. Ah, so sweet. You can't help but root for the heroine every time.

I've heard that. She was a retired nurse I think she had the doctor fantasy :) I will pick up a couple more to read.

Betty Neels was the Queen of the Nurse/Doctor Romance. If you have not read a Betty Neels book then you are not a died hard romance reader. LOL

Apparently she was quite prolific over her very long career.

Glad to know that Betty is required reading for the die-hards. I thought I was being kind of prudish, loving her PG romances the way I did.

I purchased three more of her novels today that have been reprinted through HQ :)

I just love Betty Neels. To me they are the ultimate comfort book. And it goes to show you that a book doesn't have to have sex to be good. I wish they still published books like hers.

Amie

Check out Anne Baker she is also very good. The romance is pretty wholesome in general though her books have more complex storylines.

You might also hit Lisa Wingate's work. Very emotionally satisfying and not a whole lot of sack-scenes. Just the right amount of sexual tension IMO, and always well written.
