I am in need of a beta reader (or readers, preferably) to give a critique of a 108,000 work of literary fiction titled GODS GO BEGGING. I am looking for feedback on voice, character, plot, setting, dialogue (especially dialogue) etc...., not so much grammar or spelling.
GODS GO BEGGING concerns family dynamics in the modern south. The main characters advance in age from 12 to 30 during the course of the book, but the majority of the action takes place during the characters' teenage years.
FYI: If you are queasy about critiquing work with themes concerning religion, violence, drugs, sex, etc..., then this book is not for you.
I am also willing to swap critiques, if desired. If anyone is interested, then let me know and we'll get the ball rolling!
