So, it just occurred to me that a 300-style movie about Vigo the Carpathian (aka Vigo the Cruel, Vigo the Despised, and Vigo the Unholy) from Ghostbusters 2 would be epic. I'd watch the hell out of that. I'm almost mad at myself for thinking of it I want to see it so bad.

KITTY PRYDE from the X-Men, dang it. I can name like ten different KP storylines that would be perfect for a movie.

Also I would really enjoy a movie about Callisto leading the Morlocks (these are all X-Men universe mutants BTW) as an antihero in a really dark movie, as directed by Guillermo del Toro.

Aunty Entity (aka Tina Turner with fabulous hair) from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome

Any character ever played by Alan Rickman (umm except for Hans Gruber)

A Morlocks movie would be cool. It could help get the X-Men film universe back on track.

I just rewatched Dark Knight. Young Alfred kicking ass in Borneo would probably be good.

Also, I always thought it would be funny if Moneypenny & Q were having an affair. Like, they REALLY hate each other, but they just can't get enough of the freaky sex. Kind of a Sam-&-Diane on Cheers type of thing except more hostile, and with the added element that Q makes marital aids in his spare time. Bond & M keep almost walking in on them. Intercut it with recognizable scenes from the real movies and CGI the actual actor's heads onto the bodies of adult film stars. Probably wouldn't make zillions, but I'd buy a ticket.

I love the guy that Harvey Dent pulls aside and plays Russian Roulette with. He'd be a great supervillain.

It seems you have thought quite a lot about this. But, hey, there is a whole subculture of people who use editing software to make videos like this about Rachel Dawes and The Joker, usually by intercutting scenes from The Dark Knight with scenes from Secretary.

It seems you have thought quite a lot about this.

Me + my brother + beer + Bond marathon. We also had a good time with Quint's (the captain in Jaws) childhood. His mom was played by the same actor, only in a yellow sundress. Every week she made him swim out for groceries. "But Mum, it's twenny miles to shore!" <SLAP!> "All right, all right."

I really need to learn how to use photoshop.

... Abraham Lincoln in Mr Smith Goes to Washington. Wasn't really a character, but the statue of him in Washington was shown twice, and even sorta spoke when a youngster read the inscription by it:

"...that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government: of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

Would very much like to see a movie made about him, even though numerous ones have already been done. A great man like Lincoln deserves such continuing tribute and then some.

Apparently Spielberg has a Lincoln film in the works.

They're already making a Captain America film. Oh yes, I went there.

Methinks this thread is evidence of how too often the "lead" in movies is made so generic and unoffensive as to achieve blandness.

Along those lines, I would love to see a film about Inspector Lestrade, the sometimes-nemesis of Sherlock Holmes.

Meanwhile, can you imagine what a film centered around Wormtongue from Lord of the Rings might be like?

Well I know the latest Alien film is going to be a prequel to Alien. I am trying to think what the hell they could make that about without it centering on the Space Jockey. Alien already seems like a prequel to Aliens.
