Yet Another Voice Game

Okay, there are few of these, but they've been going on for so long that I"m too scared to ask if I can join. lol. So I"m starting a new one.

Just another fun way to know your characters. I'm going to use this so I can get to know the characters in my secondary WIP better before I start writing.

So I guess we'll do this script-like.

Example:

Rowan - (scowling at shoes) Prada is overrated.

Cash - (walks across the room and picks up his backpack) You're to whiny.

Blah, blah, blah. You get it.

So, because I"m a loser, I'll let someone else start!

Cage: "Relax. Smile. No one laughs at fat people to their faces."

Hope: "I hate you. And I'm not fat, I'm pregnant. There's a difference."

Cage: "Sadly, it doesn't look much different to the casual observer."

Hope: "I really, really hate you."

Poppy: (looks at Hope. Then faces Rowan) "Is she pregnant, or just fat?"

Rowan - (glances at Hope) "Oh, Poppy, you shouldn't say things like that."

Poppy - "I think she's pregnant. What a whore."

Rowan - (smirks) "Poppy, that's rude."

Mac: "I didn't say it was."

Kyle: "You're oddly defensive for someone who swears it wasn't them. Get tired of using Brenda Crawford as a mattress?"

Rowan - "It's none of our business..." (Bites her lip) "But...You don't think it was...No. No."

Poppy - "Who?"

Rowan - "It's silly...I just thought...Well, you did say Evan wasn't paying much attention to you lately.

Poppy - "What! You think Evan would...Oh, no!"

Liam: (stares straight at Gina) But not all of them get pregnant

Gina: (presses her lips firmly together) Maybe they do. Maybe they don't.

Liam: First of all, it's called wear a condom and she...

Gina: (raises her voice) Maybe she did wear one. Maybe it broke...

Liam: (winces) Gina are you...

Gina: (stands up) Stupid girls have sex all the time (mutters) They just don't expect to get hurt.

Hope: "Fabulous. Go have your fun with her so we can have two pregnant girls on this thread. Then I won't feel so lonely."

Cage: "You. Are. A. Genius."

Hope: *rolls eyes*

Cage: "Apparently the dude who knocked you up. You're not very well-versed in the art of gossip, are you?"

Hope: *glares* "I've been trying to avoid it for the past few months."

Cage: "That's no fun. I think we should play a game. Let's see who can make up the most outrageous rumors about Hope."

Hope: "I really don't think..."

Cage: *loudly* "Hey everyone! Did you know Justin Timberlake is the father of her baby? True story. Details at ten."

Hope: *tries not to smile*

Poppy - (runs out of the room with her cell pressed to her ear) Evan, you jackass!

Liam: Gina, that's what's wrong

Nic: (rolls eyes) Sometimes I don't know why you put up with her

Liam: (stands up) Yeah...I need to go see Father

Nic: What do you have to confess to this early?

Liam: Everything

Nic: Can I drive you?

Liam: No...just...(walks away)

Nic: (shrugs) Hmm...french fry

Hope: "Excuse me. I was starting to like that Justin Timberlake theory."

Cage: "Oh, right." *thinks* "Okay, so Rory knocked you up but Justin's trying to cover it up by claiming the baby is his. And now Rory has gone mad with jealousy."

Hope: *grins* "Perfect."

Cage: "And I'm your personal bodyguard who is secretly having an affair with you because I just really dig fat chicks."

Hope: *glares* "And now you just ruined it for me."

Cage: "What can you do?"

Cage: "Sure we'll come sit with you." *to Hope* "You're eighteen years old, sweetie. You need to wrap your head around this concept: Parents' rules from here on out are suggestions - not demands."

Hope: *whispers* "Actually, I just don't feel like moving into Bitchville."

Cage: "But I love Bitchville! Great beaches. Nice neighborhoods. Come on, Hopeful Sp -"

Hope: "Shut up, Cage. I WILL kill you."

Rowan - (shifting slighlty) "If you guys are busy, that's fine. We always have room, and Poppy is a real sweetheart when she isn't jabbering on her phone...her boyfriend has issues." (shrugs) "Oh, Gosh, and my friend Sarah would just love to meet you. She's really social, but she had a dentist appointment today." (steps back) God, sorry to talk your ear off. If you're busy, I won't hold you up....

Poppy -(runs in, tears streaking her face, and hugs Rowan tightly) "We broke up!"

Rowan - (pats Poppy on the back) "I'm so sorry, sweetie. You're better off, I swear." (whispers to Cage and Hope) "Sorry..."
