Where can i get info on cutting-edge and future tech?

PNAS? (proceedings of the national academy of sciences. Can get a lot of articles when you go to their site. Unfortunately, well, the only ones I sorta kinda can understand are the ones about geology, which is something I have actually studied).
There are sites like livescience, science daily... probably more, those are the two I usually read. Try to find blogs by scientists. University sites.

That's where I go, anyway. The TED talks are awesome, too, and very diverse.

Wired (for software / hardware tech), Stuff (gadgets) and car magazines - new advances in the 'brains' which run cars these days, scratch-free paints, sensors and other stuff can be incorporated into SF stories with a little tweaking.
