Man, these are gorgeous! Much nicer than I anticipated. Thanks a million, Scott!
I'll post pics on my blog later tonight.

I finally remembered to send my money in. Should be getting mine soon too.![]()
Okay, that's two people who were thinking the mag was going to look nasty. What up?? Just kidding, I know what you mean and I'm glad everyone likes it.
How about you Haggis? What day did yours show up? I'm curious about Media Mail. My belief is that Media Mail is still transported by mule.

Hehe.
I already knew the contents would be tasty, but I didn't expect it to be perfect-bound and have a cover that was both sturdy and glossy. At your price, I think I was expecting something like Analog Science Fiction and Fact--printed on newsprint and/or having a delicate cover.
It looks retail-friendly. Any nibbles on a distributor for it?
I'm guessing the retail hurdle may have had something to do with Cityslab going under. I hope Shroud holds on--there's not much in the way of fiction magazines on the racks at B&N anymore.
Wish I knew how to help you with the cheaper printing, but I honestly would pay more for the magazine in its current format. A MMPB can't be had for less than $7 these days, after all...
Scott, the mag came out nice, you are now a true purveyor of pulp. I was much honored to find my story on page one. Well done!
Thanks! Glad you you like it. I am at CONvergence in Minneapolis this weekend doing my best to drum up more subscribers. I found that shaking people and chastising them for not reading isn't a good method. Back to the drawing board and I will try a fresh approach tomorrow.
You could follow them back to their hotels, bushwhack them in the parking lot and take their wallets. Thanks! Glad you you like it.
