Please help me categorize my genre...

I am writing a book on what not to do during the homebuying process. I am using my experiences and the experiences of others. Unlike other books that tell a person what to do, this book will have detailed stories so the reader can make their own decision of what to do when purchasing a home. Bottom line is that I think people can learn more from reading about the hangups that other people faced during the process.

I'm thinking nonfiction business... but I need to be sure...

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I was thinking the same thing. But when I went to Barnes and Nobles, all the homebuying titles were coded as Business (subtitle real estate) according to one of the employees. An agent/friend told me that it was probably Business Memoir.
