Sorry, my question was whether a three-page synopsis is too long for a suspense novel of 93,000 words?

Thanks,

The definitive answer is: that depends

Hi the Last Knight
A synopsis should be no longer than the individual agent specifies... so check out the rules of whomever you're querying.
Having said that, if they don't specify, I would say about 1000 words is right for a novel of circa 100,000...
I guess the final word on this is: keep the synopsis tight; just as in your ms, if a word, sentence or paragraph can be removed without losing anything, then do so.

I'm not sure why you edited your original post.

You asked if a three-page synopsis was too long.

My answer was it probably isn't, although, generally, the shorter the better.

Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you, I'm just drafting the synopsis right now - I'm sure tomorrow, when I read it again, I'll find plenty of things to cut.
