Saying hello

Hello, I'm a "newbie" who stumbled across this website recently. I wanted to take a moment to say Thank You to those responsible and dedicated to providing so much information, education and insight. I've spent hours reading and have learned a great deal. Much to the delight of my family, I started "writing" this past March. Since forced into early retirement a few years ago, I've learned to burn water, turn the laundry pink and drive my family nuts with my "projects". Writing has kept me busy and doesn't smell (like paint), isn't dangerous (like candlemaking) nor expensive (my husband's favorite part). I will try to summon up the courage to post on occassion and possibly even post a little of my writing for feedback soon <chews a fingernail>. I'm also a newb at using forums such as this (some posts are so darn fancy!).
Anyhoo, kudo's to absolutewrite.com & those dedicated folks who actually take the time to provide so much "stuff" for newbies like me to devour.
