Any Aaron Allston fans 'round these parts?

In case any of you folks enjoyed an Aaron Allston book or two in your day, I thought I'd mention that Mr. Allston - like many writers, creative professionals, and self-employed individuals - doesn't have decent healthcare coverage and is paying for stuff out of pocket.

For instance, his bypass surgery.

There's a charity auction coming, soon, and I know I'll be donating a book or two. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Allston on the Texas Convention Circuit, and I know I'll be donating two extra-special books to the charity auction, by mailing them out this weekend.
