Question about querying

I e-mailed an agency to make sure my style and word count for my children's manuscript would fit their line. Do I e-mail them the submission needed information from the website the same day or wait a few to ensure my query is polished?

You make sure that any written contacts you have with them highlight your best writing, spelling, grammar and content. These things matter to editors and publishers. You want to make the best first impression you can, even if it means waiting a few days and then looking at what you have written with a fresh eye.
