Hi

First posting

I have recently had a childrens/YA anthropomorphic manuscript rejected by an agency in London. I was informed that the story was a strong and intriguing concept - was lacking in some areas - with some good strong points.

OK - so not all lost

However, prior to sending out the MS I was considering having a trailer produced - I was talking to a company that produced CGI or live action CGI trailers along simlar lines - and restructure the format of the story/concept, I have also devised a good marketing plan with product concept ideas.

A new strategy is born

I now want to produce the story/concept as a comic book and pitch it to more relevaant agents - I am sure there is a name for this but I don't know what it is yet.

Does anyone have experience of this or can point me in the right direction?

Do you mean a graphic novel? And well, that is as far as I can go with this, because I don't know anything about them, or trailers, or anthropomorphic Ms's .

Good luck. I am sure someone much more helpful will be along!

There's an entire sub-board here dealing with graphic novels. I'm sure someone there knows the answer to your question.
