Judy from Ontario, Canada. I'm a home daycare provider who has always had a passion for writing. I recently started a blog about the daily happenings and frustrations of home daycare to vent some stress. Turns out the blog has become far more popular than I ever anticipated and it's only two months in the working.
I have submitted a few articles to ezinearticles.com and hoping to get them accepted. I'm also on e-lance but have yet to be chosen for a job. Boy, it seems a hard business to get in to.
Hoping to learn from the seasoned writers here. If there is one thing I have learned already it is that passion for writing can only get you so far. If you can't figure out the business aspect and the inner-workings of getting published then your writing will never be seen.
My goal is to make money writing. A new venture that will no doubt take time. I would love to make enough eventually to close my home daycare and write for a living. A lofty dream, it would seem, to those peering into my life.
