I have an idea that I would like to bounce off everyone. I'm thinking of dropping a character from Ink into the new story, just a quick little appearance, nothing major, no dialogue, etc. You guys know that my bad boy Sailor wears many different suits, right? Well, one of the suits he wears is that of a hospital orderly, and since the MC of Into the Grey is a cancer patient, the orderly's appearance would fit. His walk is very distinctive, no matter what suit he wears.
It would be nothing more than a pass by in a hallway, but the prospect makes me giggle, in a dark, mischievous way. Sort of a 'spot the sailor' thing. Hell, if I can get published, it could be my own little dark trick with all subsequent tales.
So, opinions please. Quirky? Stupid? Clever? What'cha think?

I don't think anyone has spotted it yet. It's a hard to see thing--but it IS there. I think this is something a lot of writers do... kind of like an internal signature. Go right ahead... I think Sailor is an excellent character to do this with too. I like the whole "spot the Sailor" type of thing. Sounds like a go to me. Hi guys. What's crackin'?
