I much prefer cats... but we have a fish tank and the little one likes them... Maybe I just need to change the water more often then...

Like what? How mercilessly I tease poor Boston? I only do it because he's fun to torture. If he said no, I'd stop.
And, he's not a sheep today, nor ever, because in real life he's a vermicious gnid.
Effy, that's just too funny. I agree about the gunfire though. I can't type without something going in the background, but I also can't type with annoying parents reading over my shoulder. It's annoying when they stop me and go "you spelled that wrong" or "what the hell are you writing? That doesn't sound very good."
I hate writing sexual scenes with my family home. They're NOSEY!
Yeah, I don't recommend trying to edit/tweak your steamy scenes in a dance studio waiting room either...

Um... no comment. (that's for Boston)
I would TRY the eyes, just to know what they tasted like.
I figure I've tried enough odd things in my life that I can pass on the oddball items that make me go "ick."
Like live shrimp, for example. Or fish eyes and cheeks. Or chicken's feet.
All of which I am told are delicacies. But you know what? I've had brains. I've had tripe. I've had jellyfish and tongue and a whole host of other things...
And most of them failed to to live up to the hype. Not saying they weren't good, because I like all of the above (unlike, say sea urchin, or sea cucumber, which I did eat and promptly regretted) ... just that I don't feel the need to try something that wasn't meant to be eaten.![]()
I'm adventurous though. I like to try things to know what they are and to make up my mind without interfering of other entities.

I was going to quote something witty and pithy about "rules" but the only ones that came to mind were a tad cliche.
Seeing as google is my friend, I googled.
and got this one: “Any fool can make a rule, and any fool will mind it.”
Which I am quoting only to comment that, according to the website, it;s Henry David Thoreau, yet it sounds a lot more like Mr T.![]()
