Now, for another haunting song, Believe In Me by Dan Fogelberg
Both will touch deep chords in any romantics heart.
I just enjoy the music, of course, not having a heart of my own (it having been torn out and stomped on more times than I can count).
Actually, that song almost perfectly expresses my feelings about my writing.

I just found out Marilyn Manson is touring Australia, presale tickets go on sale tomorrow so I'm tempted to extend the limit on my credit card to buy tickets - just need to find someone to go with...

How is everyone today? I'll be jumping in and out while working on Ink. Last night before I went to bed, I realized I set something up (not even a sub-plot, but a brief mention) and then never followed through with it. I don't think a reader would have noticed, but I did. So today, even though I really, really want to write the grand finale, I'm going back through and adding stuff here and there. The story would be fine without this little thing, but I think it adds just a touch of spice.

I'm procrastinating. I'm right at the end scene and I'm scared. Not scared to write it, but scared to write it badly. It's screaming in my head and that's a good thing, but still, I'm scared.
It'll be okay - write it. Let the words hit the paper as they will. Then leave it for a day, do something else - another wip, weed the garden/around the front steps, paint a bedroom, just do something else. Then read that last bit with fresh eyes and fix what needs fixing.

I think words of encouragement are what I needed. I feel so strongly about this damn tale, this is the first moment I've had of "oh my god, I suck, this sucks, it's all horrible".
