Yeah I'm...say...I never noticed you having fanges before. You feeling all right, EF? You look a little pailer than usual. ;)

Hey...yeah...okay. Good one, Shail.

*looks at leg* I might need a docotor, them teeth were pretty sharp. *blood seeping on to floor, watches EF with a puzzled look, while she licks the floor.*

Okay, maybe you need a doctor, too.

He has to be convinced? *shakes head*

Such a lack of trust. It's sad, really.

:D Oh, alright Dan. Hold still. It's a good thing my demonic side allows me to use healing magic and all that.

*heals Dan, gets off floor, smooths fur down*

Missed you guys too. Things have been a little crazy lately. How's it doing?

Or why I suddenly have fangs. *nods*

Oh, oh! I put out another sub today.

:snoopy:

Doing good Shail. Writing a bit, subbing a bit. Planning on changing guitar strings. (Still haven't changed them LOL)

Damn, now I got to go. Hubs should be home soon and I still need to put together a strawberry short cake. See y'all later gaters!

Mmmm. Guitar strings.

I've been doing home improvement. We sealed a bunch of cracks in our walls and then hung some concealing panels to hide the junk in our strorage area. It's hot work. No air conditioning. Yech.

Got a serious case of writer's block though. My muses decided to take a camping trip, without me. Bloody full moon always gets them acting wierd. I bet the two of 'em are out there making annoying little muses that will drive me bonkers.

Oh, sure. I finally get some free time and everyone wanders off.

*sniffs*

Oh wells. More tequila for me, then. Chugchugchugalug!

I'm still here, nibbling dinner while I try to drive my MC crazy in less than 2000 words for the June prompt. Mmmph. Difficult. I'm too much the psychology nut.

Hiya, Shail! Less than 2000 words, eh? Was that something you just want to do? Cuz AFAIK, Leuk said there were no word count limits....

*looks at own story*

Too bad. I need brakes for mine, I think. LOL!

Yeah, I try to keep my prompt submissions under 2000 words. I guess if it moved fast enough nobody would mind, but . . . I realize everybody needs writing time.

*headdesk* I'm struggling here. I love the prompt, but everything I write comes out as dark fantasy. I guess that's horror if I do it right, but . . . I was trying for a touch of real world.

Ah well. Maybe I'll continue with one or two of them and see how badly I can shatter my characters. I love breaking people down to quivering bits of Jello.

That sounds like a good plan to me, Shail. And, if ya wanna be all "technical" about it, there really isn't too bright and wide of a line between dark fantasy and horror, if ya ask me.

Shatter away!

I'm facing a similar problem with mine, too. It's creepy (or it is when you know what the end is, anyway), but I can't get there yet. I know exactly how this ends, what exactly is *really* going on, my MC is right on the edge, and I can't push the twit over! GAH! I also know it's going to be *really* long, at least by my usual standards, so I don't think I can put it up in SWY...too long to get reads. Bleah.

I still have some tequila, if you want some. We'll drown our sorrows. :D

Sorry Cranky. Bed time for kiddies. I gotta drive the oldest to band practice in the morning. Yech. Six is an hour when most self respecting horror hounds are sound asleep. I prefer the hours between dusk and dawn, but with the kid in marching band . . . blech. Later. ;)

Hey, no problem. Even horror hounds need their beauty rest. That's when our fangs grow so long and pointy, right? :D

Weird topic for a horror thread, but - who believes in love at first sight?

*looks around*

Uh, me? :D May I ask why?

I've fallen in lust at first sight and have known lots of others who have. Hubs and I were friends at first sight and that's pulled us through some really, really bad times when love and lust were iced over.

A friend of mine cherishes the concept of love at first sight. I like the idea of it, but haven't had it happen to me personally.

I find a running start... in a moving vehicle... moves the most recalcitrant of MC's over any cliff. (Just be sure to jump out first.)

Failing that, an axe to the back works just as well, though it tends to cut down on the screaming as they fall, which is a drawback if you ask me.

:D
