My partner and I were intrigued by the Harlequin Nocturne Bites e-book line of novellas and we decided to write one. Aiming at 10,000 words of goodness (the Bites minimum), we somehow ended up with 15,000 words of happy romance (the Bites max). But is it any good?
My partner used to read romances. As a romance-newbie, I read three from the Bites line before we began our project. I think we've done a professional job and I hope the novella is worthy of submission but we'd love a regular romance reader to tell us if we've hit our marks.
Here's the scoop: Alpha hero (werewolf 'cause vamp didn't work for our storyline), some strong language, life and death issues, "highly sensual" per the guidelines.
If you're interested, please send me a PM. Thanks!
