For this next practice let's tackle important times in life - stages that is. Vote on the life event we should be working on.
I don't know why, but pregnant sex, when its nice and gentle and romantic...well, its just very sexy.
Having not been pregnant, I'd probably have a hard time writing that one.
I started to say the same thing about a "wedding night", because my current husband and I got married after 10 years together (and will be married 10 years this year) because we would save on taxes. I'm not even sure we had sex.
But my first husband - we'd been living together/sleeping together for six months, and once he proposed to me, and I accepted, he refused to have sex until we got married. Fortunately, the wedding was only 3 months after the proposal. So that would work. (lol - He also asked my dad for "permission" which was pretty cute. My father tried really hard not to laugh. I was 21, a vocalist in a hard rock band traveling throughout the PNW at the time, I hadn't lived at home for three years, and my Dad really wasn't worried about my chastity/virginity/reputation at that point.)

First time? That sucked. Wedding night? Tired as hell. Pregnant? Depends on how pregnant-can be a real trick to accomplishing that and acting like you enjoy it at the same time.

Losing your virginity post-18 isn't unrealistic. Trust me.

Just tried to beat the writer who wanted to write under 18 to the punch. There are rules for our board.
Oh, I know. Still, just saying, lots of people lose their virginities in their twenties. Twenty one here, still going.
EDIT: Just so we're clear, I wasn't trying to start an argument, but simply saying why a story with 18+ old virgins is fairly realistic.

Ooh, with some of the sets of choices I would say that, but not this one. I wouldn't write about losing virginity or pregnant sex. Sometimes it's hard to choose one - this one I'm saving my vote to vote *against* one of those if necessary. lol.
(On the other hand, I only seem to be hitting about every other practice, so...*shrug*)
