I want to build a resume while I finish my MS, what Magazines would you recommend for short story publication? I have looked through the directories and I have never heard of half of these Magazines.
What Magazines do you recommend?

It depends on what kind of short stories you write. If you write literary, for example, Glimmer Train would be a nice feather in your cap.
