Kind of an odd question I guess, but if a writer publishes in more than one genre under more than one name is the 1st book published with a new name considered the pen name's "debut" novel?
If Jane Doe published 3 books in fantasy and then wrote a dark thriller as John Smith, would the thriller be sold as John Smith's debut novel?
