(Wayne K is one of them, and he's written a similar--and fantastic--memoir. I know for a fact he'd feel honored to answer any questions you might have.)

If it's your true story, you'd probably find more helpful info on querying and shopping the memoir over in the memoir and autobiography forum. You can also look for general info on finding an agent in the SYW Query Letters and Synopses thread, and info on particular agents in the Beware and Background Check forum, but if this is a memoir, your process and query letter will likely be a bit different than a fiction query, and you're still probably better off starting in the Memoirs and Autobiographies forum.

Good luck with your research and, ultimately, with seeking an agent or publisher.
