I'm going to be blogging on Penguin's web site on the week of May 11th, and given that my novel is about parents who try to "buy" their daughter a love of reading by commissioning an author to write the "perfect" book for her, I'd like to write one of the entries about what actual people say they would wish for if they could have someone write the "perfect" book for them. What is missing from the bookstore shelves that you wish were there?
I would LOVE your input (let me know if it's okay that I quote you)! These entries probably will be "recycled" later on my Amazon and/or Red Room blogs.
I'm also considering writing a piece about why non-readers (like my protagonist) dislike reading. If you know anyone (particularly teenagers) who doesn't like reading who would like to weigh in on the issue, I'd love his/her input!
Thanks in advance!
