Gay, Bi, or Bi-Curious Males

I've got some questions for the gay, bi, or bi-curious males, but I'd rather not post them publicly or ask you to answer them publicly. (yep, THOSE kinds of questions) Some of it is about sex, some of it is about relationship dynamics, but I'd rather keep it to private discussions for the sake of your privacy.

ETA: I really am serious...I'm working on a WIP that involves some gay male sexual content, and I want to get it right, so I'm trying to pick the brains of some folks who are "in the know" in ways that I (being female) am not.

Just didn't want anyone to think, as scarletpeaches pointed out as a possibility, that this thread is intended as a piss-take.

Maybe people think, due to your irreverent sense of humour, that this thread is a piss-take.

My presence here probably won't lend you any credibilitah, but I can assure others, for what it's worth, that it's real. She already has the outline prepared and just needs to hammer out (ahem) the finer details of intimacah.

A big part of why we limit the sex-chat play is so that we CAN have honest-to-gawd real conversations for writing purposes, without them turning into big flirt-fests.

ETA: And having read Lori's first two chapters, I have to say "They work for me!" but not being a gay - well, bi - male, I wouldn't know how true to life they are.

Also, I'm not a bloke, so as I don't have the required toilet-parts for blokedom, I shall keep a close eye on this thread to see how to make certain characters more true to life.

Some of the questions were pretty personal and very sexual in nature, so I didn't feel comfortable asking them publicly. I was joking about being banninated. LOL

Most of my questions relate to how (and if) gay relationships differ from heterosexual relationships, and also the more probing (so to speak) questions about male-male sex (positions, how it feels, differences between sex with a woman vs sex with a man). If anyone's willing to share publicly, feel free.

I just wasn't sure about ASKING publicly.

Also, just wanted to say thanks to everyone who replied, publicly and privately. I got a TON of information, and definitely feel a bit more confident moving into this rather uncharted territory.

And now I'd damn well BETTER finish this story, or I think SP and Adz might cause me bodily harm...

I suggest, if you're looking for someone else to suppliment your knowledge, try Googling "Minotaur's Sex Tips for Slash Writers". It's written by a gay guy specifically for straight girls/women who want to write gay literature without the opportunity for experience. Contrary to the implication in the name, it's not just about sex. There's even a Q+A section, though it hasn't been updated since 2001 or so.
