I'm not personally considering this if only because I've written a YA book and doubt too many young adults have a Kindle; but it may be a viable option for me in the future. Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks,

I'm curious to find out about this as well since I just uploaded a manuscript, sans the pics from it, to test the viability of it. I knew that the work wasn't going to get published elsewhere since I've already broken it up into pieces as articles, so it was the right choice for me to use as a tester. I read on one blog (can't remember where now) where they were selling well on the kindle platform. But that was a "random person" on a "random blog" and I'd much rather see if people here are seeing any sales on the kindle.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of POD/self-publishing companies that will make a manuscript Kindle-ready. I've heard that PDF's are not Kindle's favorite formats.

That's good to know, Tina. Thanks. Is your Kindle PDF a book that is available for sale on Amazon? That is what I would be interested in.
