I'm trying to remember a poem. Does anyone remember a poem that ends that way
"and the sky/night is filled with stars..."
or something like that. It had to do with being hopeful during darkness or something. Sorry, that's all I remember. It seems to me it was a really famous poem too. I'm such a dunce...Somebody help me out here...

It might be a stretch, but you could be thinking of Longfellow:
...For age is opportunity no less
Than youth itself, though in another dress,
and as the evening twilight fades away
The sky is filled with stars, invisible by day.

No, those are beautiful, but not what I was thinking of. Thank you, though. I think the previous line was something like
"...but the world is still full of promise,
and the night is filled with stars..."
Dang it. It's really bugging me now.

I hope you can find it and will tell us, because I really like those lines. For some reason they sound older to me, like something from around Kipling's time.

Well, I did some searching. Here's what the internet had to offer regarding those lines.

It also has just a slight biblical flavor to it, although it may seem a bit vague for that. So.
Just three other places to look. Good luck!
