Alright, here's what I've got:

Beggars in Spain by Nancy Kress
Dust by Elizabeth Bear
Farthing by Jo Walton (Note this is mainly Alt Hist, but highly recommended)
The Snow Queen by Joan D. Vinge

Please vote and participate. And feel free to sway the vote for fun :D

Oh, I noticed last night Beggars in Spain is also a short story. Anyone know the similarities/difference between the two?

Dang it, I came on here to vote and just missed it.

Beggars started as a short story I assume, and was novel-ized.

Let me break the tie by reading up on those two books...

Alright, let's go with Beggars. It gets my vote, and one of the voters for Snow Queen admitted they won't be participating.

So Beggars wins by two. Get reading :whip:

:)

How's everyone's reading coming? It's not too late to hop aboard if you haven't started yet!

I've long since finished Small Gods, but have yet to comment on it, heh. Beggars will prolly be picked up from the library next week sometime. It's been a little crazy here.
