I seen the promo for this movie a long time ago but forget the name of the movie.
Zombie's have taken over and surburban dad is trying to reach his young daughter. I'm thinking it's fairly recent but I can't remember the name.. Someone helo me out!!!

I've seen that list... And I actually went and did searches for any titles I didn't recognize and still didn't come up with the right movie. Oh well, perhaps someone will be able to help. I will still keep searching and checking back

Well, if you turn the daughter into a son, it's basically the plot of Brian Keene's The Rising. I believe they're making a movie of it, but it's not out yet.

Not Dawn Of The Dead. Version 1, best zombie movie ever, have four refugees from Pittsburgh landing on the roof of the mall where they fight off not only zombies but their own complacency, having conquered the American dream the old fashioned way - by force. The one female is pregnant but determined to hold her own with the zombie fighting men.
Version 2 starts with a child and her father both turning into zombies, forcing the mother to run for it; she joins up with a Milwaukee cop (Ving R) and 3 misfits who clash with a trio of mall cops for control of the mall. A zombie birth is also involved.
Neither involves a teen daughter and suburban dad. I did obtain a spec called Dark Silence: Contagion that has that meme.

Now 28 Days Later does have the London cabbie and his teen daughter; they lead the escape from London to the Army compound up north. You might be thinking 28 Weeks Later as well, when the teen kids go into the 'infected' areas of London where they discover their mother, now feral and carrying the virus. They also have to go into the subways on a different rescue mission near the end.

No surburban dad is not a zombie but is trying to reach his young daughter who seemed to be a preteen in a world where a mass of zombies have taken over. Sorry about the confusion. He was divorced I remember that and the kid lived with her mother. I did like Dawn of the dead both films
