For those writers looking for state-of-the-art concealed armament, Ruger just introduced its 13 1/2 ounce LCR (lightweight compact revolver).
I’ve owned other guns made of "space age" materials; they were all hand-stingers and their material never held up.
Ruger’s new LCR is different, ergonomically engineered with inertia-reducing compounds and design. Even loaded with five 158-grain +P .38 Specials, it’s a smooth double-action only delight to shoot. That translates to more practice with a hideout gun.
Characters with oversized or undersized hands will appreciate the post grip proved by Ruger’s all-stainless steel GP100 and SP101 design.
In the past, Ruger has always followed up with .22s in similar size and shape, so practice will be even easier. I’ll wager the LCR will be available in .357 soon.
