So, would anybody be interested in beta-ing my latest work? It is an 81,000 word fantasy (of course) about a former dark knight who is abandoned by his wizard master after their journey into other worlds to find the power over life and death. Returning to his own world hated by most every nearby nation (due to the wizard draining all the water from a sea by opening the interdimensional portal to leave, and all the nasty side effects thereof), the knight cuts a deal to work for one of the countries in exchange for forgiveness. Meeting new comrades, he slowly learns what real friendship is. But while investigating the discovery of a magical weapon by former pirates, he will once again encounter and be forced to settle things with his old master...
