NOTE: This movie is not to be confused with the number 23, starring Jim Carrey. That movie was actually somewhat cool. Also, I'm going to be spoiling the whole movie in this thread, so anyone who wants to watch Room 6 LOOK AWAY NOW!

I could almost write this movie off as the typical stupid horror flick and never write a review for this at all. The acting was slightly above average, there were far too many stereotypes, but hey...it was something I got from blockbuster on a whim. I knew it was going to be bad.
But then, it really got me mad.
So here's the movie in a nutshell. Amy is a woman who's afraid of hospitals, because she killed her dad in one. Literally. Nick is her fiancee, who apparently knows this but still loves her anyway. He tries to propose to her, but she brushes him off. They fight in the car, Nick tries to kiss her, car crashes (bonehead).
Two ambulance drivers just short of wearing 'we are evil' t-shirts take Nick (and only Nick) away to Mercy hospital. While there, Nick encounters blood-sucking-lesbian nurses. Literally. Being a little suspicious, he tries to escape but is caught and the nurses decide to 'operate on him' (never did figure out which part they planned to operate on).
Not knowing where he is, Amy eventually tracks him down to the burned-down-yet-not-burned-down-because-obviously-they're-still-taking-in-random-people hospital and confronts her own worst fears, including visions of her dad. Multiple times people plead with her to just leave Nick, but she refuses and breaks Nick out just before they operate on him. Oh yeah, despite their being talk of ghosts/satanists/deamons at one point, some of the staff at Mercy Hospital are actually zombies.
AND I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN TO THE PART WHERE I'M MAD YET!!!!
Because as it turns out, it was all a dream. It was all a test, you see, because Amy is really dying in the car crash. Someone wanted to be sure she could ascend to heaven after that whole killing-her-dad-bit. Others wanted her to go to hell.
So here's what gets me mad. If the whole thing was a test for Amy, why did we see what was happening to Nick??? This was from her point of view, not his! Oh sure, one could say that when you're dreaming, you see other people and not just yourself. But if she could see what was happening to Nick, why did she not react to what she was seeing?? Several times people told Nick he was at Mercy Hospital, yet for half the movie Amy didn't know which hospital he was in! She would have certainly freaked out when Nick saw the lesbian vampires, or when other patients started disappearing. Instead she was calm and collected for a great deal of time.
This kind of head-hopping nonsense has been done in other movies too (1408). It would not be permitted in a book, and it shouldn't have been permitted in this movie!
That's my rant.
