The Andy Griffith Show theme.

They are words to the song as I recall, but everyone knows the whistling version.

Didn't we have this thread, perhaps in the Music and Songwriting thread?

Put CSI back! It's a Who song, but still a theme song! :D

Besides, I kid you not - I was in upstate NY many moons ago and there was a radio station that seemed to play nothing but theme songs - Cheers, The Golden Girls, Hill Street Blues

Besides I thought the Love Boat sucked. Sorry. :D

Did everyone know you can sing "Amazing Grace" to the Gilligan's Island tune? You can also sing it to The House of the Rising Sun. Try it at home. It's fun.

Did you know you could sing Jimmy Buffett's Wish I had a Pencil Thin Moustache to the music to Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant.

I think it was the extry special guest stars that did me in. :D

It was Sonny Bono's sole means of support for a number of years.

How come no one has mentioned I got you Babe from the Sonny and Cher show?

My MIL gave me a Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy doll thing (they're sewn together - like they aren't creepy enough alone!) and they sing I Got You, Babe. It scares the freakin' hell out of me. They're in the hall closet now because I can't stand to look at them and I'm sure they are in there plotting my demise...

It's not really a song, but I love the theme music to the Office.

I can imagine you waking up in the middle of the night to find them at the end of your bed and softly walking toward you, eyes glowing, their arms outstretched...
