Hey, ya'll. I'm willing to beta a contemporary YA novel--not in the mood for fantasy right now, sorry. I'll beta a book if you are willing to beta my contemporary YA when I am done. Any length is fine, but less than 100k is preferred.

You probably want to know a bit about me. I"m 17, which means I generally can relate to YA books, and I'm currently taking AP Literature, which means I am also good--and getting better--at looking for syntax, gramatical, and plot elements. I can beta for technical problems (spelling, punctuation, etc) as well as plot oriented issues, like character development, continuity, and, of course, keeping the reader's interest. I'll pretty much beta for whatever you need, but I'll warn you now that I'm very honest and sometimes picky about things--especially punctuation. I'll tell you my honest opinion both as a writer and as a teenage reader.

Why am I offering? Well, I just finished a beta obligation, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love to read, and I especially love to help others. Like I said, if you are willing to beta mine when I'm done we can call it a trade.

If interested, post below and I'll get back to you.
