I am a 25-year old unpublished author who is interested in submitting some short stories and/or novellas to erotic fiction publications. I have never submitted professional work for pay before so I would very much appreciate it if I could have someone look over and critique my stories before I send them in.
Though I have never published anything professionally, I have been writing online in fan-fiction circles as well as writing original stories for my own personal enjoyment for nearly ten years now. I am not entirely new to this writing scene, just the professional level.
The type of work I will need beta-read will be mostly m/m gay romance and erotica. I am especially interested in the fantasy genre. If I can find a beta reader who is also willing to critique the occasional m/f heterosexual or f/f lesbian erotic story as well that would be my dream come true.
The stories will mostly be character-driven works, lots of fun dialogue, character development, and eventually hot steamy sex and a happy ending.
My main need for a beta reader is to look out for typos, bad grammar, and story flow issues. I want someone who is not afraid to give firm constructive critiques but who will also allow for personal narrative voice and sentence flow over perfect textbook grammar if need be. Someone with experience with erotica and comfortable with the fantasy genre is a must.
