That is part of a qoute from David Orr a writer for the New York Times. I would like to hear what other Poets/Writers have to say.

i linked to it this morning at authorscoop. like many essays on poetry, it spends a great deal of time mired in the past.

for me, the future of poetry boils down to accessibility.
