Hi,

I'm looking for beta readers to crit my short-story "Crow's Road". The story is set in the future after a second civil war in the US that divides the East and the West with the East winning. It's not epic. It's set in a small village between the main character (the town preacher) and his past when his mother comes to visit. It's a story of murder, loss and need :D Or something like that :)

I'm on my third serious edit. I'm at 6700 words but would like to make it shorter if possible. I'm concerned mainly about the flashbacks (which are many) to make sure they convey the plot since the real story is in the tensions with the past.
