There are many kinds of martial arts pants, apparently. I'm finding Hakama, Thai fisherman, and gi... plus a whole lot of people who sell various loosely-fitted knit pants as martial arts wear.

Gi is far more likely than hakama. A hakama's no good for avoiding laser beams. It's more like a skirt.
