Here's an excerpt from an e-mail I got from these folks this morning:

We're still accepting submissions for the next two volumes in the series: Ghosts in the Workplace, and Tales of Haunted Libraries. If you have a story, we'd love to read it - just check the guidelines on our website (www.atriadpress.com), and be sure to tell your friends and writer's groups.

Stay in touch,

Mac, if I've put this in the wrong thread, please transfer it to the proper place. :D

Good luck, everybody!

Pays $50, which isn't bad for 1,000 words. (Comes to .05 a word.) However:

Atriad Press is purchasing All Rights to the story for as long as the book that contains it is in print. Keep in mind that one of the things that makes Haunted Encounters appealing to readers is that it contains true stories that they've never read before. We will allow you to publish the story again, however, as long as you obtain prior written approval and give credit to the Haunted Encounters book in which it first appeared.

"All Rights" is a bit over the top. I would be more comfortable with a specific timeline. Still, I may attempt to submit. I have plenty of work-related ghost stories.
