What the hell is it with this program? It's been canceled twice, and it's baaaaaack. So I gotta watch this 'Grey's Anatomy', which I have always loathed, but my wife likes it, and they do this dog of a spin off. We watch it, and even she hates it.

But it keeps coming back, and tonight, well it pissed me off big time. They do a show where a character from 'Private Practice' who was on 'GA' first, and they do the whole show like it's GA, but then it suddenly morphs into PP, and I change the channel to ER, which I really wanted to see tonight. Well, hell, they took their crap twenty minutes into then next hour. Dirty pool.

I missed the whole start of ER, and have no clue as to what's happening.

What the hell is going on with this PP crap? Who's pushing this absolute drivel on us?

They have canceled some great shows, like Pushing Daisies, and they're talking about canceling Chuck, but this crap gets life after life after life?

Why?

See, now I think Chuck and ER are crap. There's something out there for everyone. Change the channel.

I've never seen PP, but it's got to be better than The Last Templar. I happened to catch part of TLT the other night. Just when I thought TV couldn't get any worse . . .

I beg to differ on the Pushing Daises and Chuck being 'great' shows, but hey, to each their own.

Besides, a lot of people now watch their favorite shows on the Internet, so you're not really missing anything.

1) Start using website like TV Shack or Fanpop.

or

2) Get DVR.

I never watched PP. We vomited enough trying to watch that sh*tbag otherwise known as Grey's Anatomy, thank you very much.

Private Practice hasn't been canceled once, much less twice. I don't usually watch it, but I've actually enjoyed the crossover with Grey's. Doubt I'll watch PP once the xover is finished, though. Violet annoys me too much.

But aadams is right. Change the channel or get a second TV.

Yeah, it's actually never been canceled. Like most shows, it disappeared for awhile during the writer's strike, but that was it.

And no, I'm not a fan. But I actually have it recorded on the DVR because of the Grey's crossover (a show I'm really not a fan of anymore, too bad) and my DVR recorded one hour for Grey's and one hour for PP. So I'm not sure where the twenty-minute overrun is coming from.

This week there was a Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice crossover, so you were actually suckered into watching 20 minutes of PP that starred the cast of both shows.

I agree that PP is intolerable drivel. And they only did the crossover to have more Derek Shepherd vs. Addison Shepherd conflict, which is snipey whiney divorcee conflict, and therefore boring and sucky. But I can't complain about a show featuring both Patrick Dempsey and Taye Diggs. Sigh... :D

BTW, the crossover continues next week with Addison sticking around GA to be whiney and snipey to Derek.

The crossover was worth it just for the scene in Joe's Bar of the old pals singing. Especially Audra MacDonald and Taye Diggs (who have both starred on Broadway).

Actually, I would have said it was worth it to see Bailey and Taye Diggs, but that was also more prominent in the first Grey's hour. But seriously (ha!) ... I thought it was over? But it continues next week? That's a lot.

I'm glad I DVR'd it to fast-forward through all the PP stuff, though.

Next week, judging by the trailer, we get yet another tired worn-out storyline of SAVE TEH BEBBEH OR SAVE TEH MOTHER! OHHHH TEH ANGST! Sigh. It's been done numerous times on GA as well as on every other hospital show. Derek wants to save the mom because he sort of botched her brain surgery a little bit, and Addison wants to save the baby cause she is a baby doctor. Also there is McDreamy vs. McSteamy fistfight that should be delightful. I hid the spoilers but they are all from the preview.

Derek gets pissed off a lot lately. I feel like it's the writers trying to give him more depth because he's all guilty and sad. But he also seems to get more pissed when Meredith or Addison is involved, and I don't think that's all that great. I do want to know why he would turn on Mark, though. Lexxie? At this point I'm involved until the end of the season, but I don't know if I'll come back next year.

Yeah, I think my burning question for next week is what makes Derek hit Mark like that? That preview clip made my jaw drop.

Exactly. I mean, we saw him hit Mark once before--it was almost comical--but this is like... rage-a-holic.

Well, Derek did yell at Addison this week. Maybe he's next in line for a breakdown. ;)

Ever notice how he gets really pissy when asked to save someone's life, though? He yelled at Meredith over the clinical trial patients. But even though he took it out on her then, I understood he was feeling awful about essentially killing people instead of saving them. But with this baby thing he just seems so out-of-the-blue whiny.

Breakdown = Sweeps month?
