Necrotic Tissue is going print. That’s right, your favorites ezine and Top Ten Finisher for the P&E Readers Poll for Best Fiction Magazine is going print starting in July.
What that you say? July is five months away so why do we care?
I’ll tell you why, thanks for asking. We have updated our website. It has a brand new coat of paint, thanks to our web god, Remo, and we have also added a Store page where you can be the first kid on your block to buy a Necrotic Tissue Subscription!!
What’s that you say? You can’t wait until July for your next Necrotic Installment? Well don’t worry, Issue #6 is still coming out April 1st and it will be our last electronic issue.
I know what you’re thinking. I’ve teased you with the thought of Necrotic in print and there is just no way you can wait until July to get your hands on some Necrotic Tissue, and the PDF April issue, while AWESOME, won’t satisfy that horror print jones. You want to feel the Necrotic Tissue in your hands right now, oh yes you do.
Well you are in luck! Also on our Store page is a link to purchase your very own copy of Malpractice: An Anthology of Bedside Terror. This is NT’s first anthology and rolls out at 240 pages of medical horror, so disturbing, that you may never be able to enter a hospital again. Warning, this anthology is addictive and may cause harmful side effects, such as the condition known as sausage fingers and a deep seated fear of people in white coats.
Lastly, I have an update to all the writers out there on our rates. We previously upped our rates so the best story from each submission period receives Pro Pay of 5 cents per word up to our maximum of 5,000 words. Now we are also increasing from our token pay of a flat $25 to 1 cent per word, plus one contributor copy. We will strive to increase rates further, but in order to pay it out, we need to bring it in, so please help spread the word about our anthology and new print subscription.
That is a lot of news to come out all at once, so I will recap:
1. Necrotic Tissue’s website has a new look and a Store page to purchase your Necrotic goodies
2. NT is going print starting July, but you can preorder your subscription starting today
3. Malpractice, NT’s first print anthology, is now available for pre order and will be released in March and may cause you to lose bladder control
4. NT has upped its rates to 1 cent per word, with the best story of each submission period receiving Pro Pay, plus all writers will receive a contributor copy
