Submissions via e-mail

Does anyone have a list or can direct me to a list of agents or publishers that accepts submissions via e-mail????? Thanks in advance if you do.

What JVC said. Also, check the submission guidelines on websites of agents that interest you. Some only do e-mail, some only snail mail, some both.

For email queries, do you include a header with phone number, address, etc? Or is it just assumed that if interested the agent or publisher will reply by email?

I included my address and phone number, but I put it below my signature. Most of the agents I've queried responded via email (or didn't respond at all). But the agent I signed with gave me a quick call.

Probably doesn't matter whether you give contact details or not (as long as you are confident about the reliability of your email account.) If you want to I'd put your phone number below your sig and leave it at that.

I put all contat info (mailing address, phone number and email) below my sig line in all of my queries.

Most, if not all of your questions can be answered in Query Letter Hell in the Share Your Work forum (password vista).
