a blurry look
moment's noticing
one second mind recored
the tiny gap
between then and now
eyes unfocused
soft with buddha love

Buddha sleek,
book holding rise,
sell me your wares,
make me wise.
Make flowers that kiss
a shiver devine,
make me a bliss,
a hummingbird kiss.

books and Buddah
in a 'cubbyhole' desk,
frills, fripperies,
hummingbirds and
a pink peony in the parlor;
these are the pieces
of a life

it's anybody's bike
that'll take you
to the roiling stream
you seek,
lift you with a mantra
sit you near its shore.
it's anybody's bike
that'll bring you
to the Buddha,
lift your eyes
and realize
the Buddha's
on your bike.
