Well, he went and did it... blessed us all with his poems in print :)

I noticed it in his signature and i went out and bought my copy waiting on it to be delivered.... did you pick up your copy yet?

I know my own poetry has improved just from reading his poems and reading his crits of other poems. I see the purchase of his collection as buying a textbook on how to write good poetry.

Go out and pick up your copy :)

Perhaps if Haskins was offering signed bookplates or such, I might be willing to bite....

Well, he can be proud of his book, but I get to be proud of my review of it on Lulu (http://www.lulu.com/content/5970858).

Those poems must've put me in just the right mood to spout off critically. Sometimes it's difficult for me to frame my reactions to poetry, and I can't say this was perfectly all I meant to say, but it definitely gives me ideas of how to better articulate my commentary. Maybe I'll critique more in forums, or at least better. (There's always hope.)

It reminds me of the 'Body of Work' discussions we were doing a while back.

I have to say, though, my review looks a bit lonesome there. Next!

I Love William Haskins' poetry. Reading his words is almost always a divine, spiritual experience of the highest order, for me. I hope to be able to purchase a copy soon.

just a note of appreciation to everyone who's purchased a copy. it means a lot to me.

one request: if you got one and liked it, please consider hitting the book page and rating it or, if you're so inclined, post a review or reply to one that's already there.

My copy is on its way. I've never bought anything POD before. It's kind of a different feeling, that this particular copy is being printed specifically for me. Or do they print off a bunch and then wait for the orders to come in?

I've never reviewed a book of poetry before, but I'm happy to give it a go.
