Hello, ya'll!
I'm reposting this from the Beta forum, as I thought I might get more peeks that way (if it's against the rules, I apologize! Just let me know and I'll delete it.)
I've got a YA zombie thriller I'm working on called THE END GAMES that is by far my best work yet (it's my third completed YA manuscript). I'm here looking for someone who has experience in this sort of thing - I live in Buttcrack, West Virginia (true story...'kay, not really), so there's not a huge YA community here - to read/crit the book.
It's not QUITE done yet, but I'm DYING to hear some feedback on the first 100-ish pages from a fellow YA-er.
A little background: I'm 24, graduated from UNC's film school, and have had two screenplays optioned and developed at such places as Sony Pictures, Kopelson Entertainment, and Valhalla Motion Pictures. (Not bragging - it's actually a little embarrassing to talk about myself! - just giving you the info :])
I'd be more than willing to return the favor. I make my living as a screenplay reader, which means that basically I get paid to write book reports for executives who hate to read. So I've got a pretty good track record of critiquing things :]
Anyone interested, perchaps?
- Mike
